Image convertin’ tools
This is a selection of tools I use to convert image files when I’m bloggin’ and writin’. I used Make250 and Make540 to make images smaller (it’s basically this script modified) and ConvertTo makes any image into a JPEG, perfect for when you have to use Grab to take a screenshot. I still haven’t figured out a good watermarking workflow, though. Any advice?
Being a PHP programmer, I wrote PHP to do my watermarking for me. I upload them as plain JPEG, and they get displayed with watermarks auto-magically. If you use any PHP-based publishing platform, there should be plug-ins that do something similar, or such a plug-in should be easy for an average PHP guy to make.
